Job Duties
- Lead and supervise stewarding staff; hire, schedule, train, motivate, and counsel all staff on a department that operates twenty four hours a day seven days a week.
- Maintain sanitation, safety, security and quality standards and proactively create programs to address shortcomings.
- Work closely with maintenance to ensure that repairs are reported and done in a timely manner.
- Purchase all cleaning supplies for the F&B department and china, glass, silver and smallwares.
- Ensure that quarterly inventories or when business needs demands, are conducted and results are compiled and reported accurately.
- Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure that the Stewarding department complies with all timelines to ensure all food is delivered at the appropriate time for catered events.
- Transport equipment, trash, and employees on and off property by driving company box trucks and golf carts.
- Assist with payroll, glass, china, silver and smallwares budgeting and ensure that these budgets are adhered to.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Industry Experience - Food & Beverage, Hospitality/Tourism.
- Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of high school or GED.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
