Executive Sous Chef
About the role
We're seeking a dynamic individual who can open and close the line, perform precise line checks and facility walks, and manage back of house employees. This role requires a strong passion for culinary excellence and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Runs high volume service periods from the expo or wheel position to ensure food quality and presentation meets TFK standards.
- Participates in EcoSure and Health inspections, ensuring a safe production environment.
- Hires and develops back of house employees, managing their schedules and reporting payroll hours in compliance with company standards and state laws.
- Assists in managing the P&L to maximize profits through food cost management, labor, inventory control, and restaurant performance.
- Orders and invoices products and communicates consistently with the front of house team to ensure adherence to TFK guidelines.
Requirements
More than 3 years of experience as a chef in a full-service, high-volume restaurant setting. Advanced knowledge and understanding of financial aspects of business operations. Caring, self-motivated, and possess the ability to lead, coach, and drive excellence.
Qualifications
Strong passion for culinary excellence, exceptional attention to detail, resilience in stressful situations, and the ability to handle last-minute requests.
