About the Role
As Chef de Cuisine/Executive Sous Chef, you will lead the kitchen brigade, crafting innovative menus and overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations to deliver unforgettable dining experiences. Your role will focus on creativity, consistency, and operational excellence in a luxury setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create innovative menus reflecting the culinary vision, incorporating seasonal ingredients, dietary preferences, and culinary trends
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including staff supervision, food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Standardize recipes and ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, sanitation practices, and teamwork
- Monitor food costs, labor expenses, and kitchen waste; implement cost-control strategies while maintaining quality and profitability
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or Executive Sous Chef
- Minimum 5-8 years’ culinary experience in established restaurants and/or catering companies
- Experience in a luxury hotel or Michelin-rated restaurant preferred
