About the role
Reporting to the VP of Talent, we are looking for a seasoned Executive Recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has a proven track record of attracting world-class executive talent across a variety of roles in technology companies. You will be instrumental in building our leadership team as we scale from an innovative pioneer to a market leader. This is a pivotal opportunity to help shape the leadership team of Crusoe, which is still in a building phase.
Responsibilities
- Lead Search Processes: Own end-to-end executive search processes for C-suite, VP, and Senior Director-level positions across all business functions.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive search strategies for critical leadership roles including Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, DIG, Operations, and Finance.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with founders, board members, and existing executives to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Network Utilization: Leverage and expand extensive candidate networks within the cloud computing, data center, and AI industries.
- Relationship Building: Proactively build trust and relationships with top-tier executive talent through industry events, conferences, and strategic networking.
- Process Management: Manage sophisticated interview processes involving multiple senior stakeholders and rigorous assessment methodologies, and complicated schedules.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience that reflects Crusoe's values and competitive positioning.
- Value Proposition: Craft and deliver compelling narrative value propositions for executive candidates considering high-growth infrastructure and startup opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of executive search experience, with at least 4 years focused specifically on technology companies.
- Track Record: Proven history of successfully placing C-suite and VP-level executives at high-growth technology or infrastructure companies.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of tech markets such as data centers, GPUs, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, or related hardware/software technologies.
- Network: Extensive existing network of relationships with executive talent in relevant technology and infrastructure industries.
- Startup Acumen: Experience working with venture-backed or private equity-backed startups and a strong understanding of high-growth startup dynamics.
- Bonus Points: Previous experience at top-tier executive search firms (e.g., Daversa, Russell Reynolds, Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles).
- In-house executive recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, AI infrastructure, climate tech, or energy sectors.
- Experience recruiting for companies scaling rapidly through growth phases (Series A through IPO).
- Established relationships with technology executives, particularly in Silicon Valley and other major tech hubs.
- Prominent track record of recruiting diverse executive talent and building inclusive leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of executive search experience, with at least 4 years focused on technology companies.
- Track Record: Proven success in executive search, especially for high-growth technology companies.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of tech markets, including data centers, GPUs, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, or related hardware/software technologies.
- Network: Extensive professional network in the technology and infrastructure industries.
- Startup Acumen: Experience with venture-backed or private equity-backed startups, and a deep understanding of high-growth startup dynamics.
- Previous Experience: Experience at top-tier executive search firms, such as Daversa, Russell Reynolds, Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles.
- In-House Experience: In-house executive recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud computing, AI infrastructure, climate tech, or energy sectors.
- Recruitment Experience: Experience recruiting for companies scaling rapidly through growth phases (Series A through IPO).
- Leadership: Established relationships with technology executives, particularly in Silicon Valley and other major tech hubs.

Pay
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $255,000 - $280,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Schedule
This position requires presence in our San Francisco office location 5 days per week.
