Executive Producer (Commercial Finishing)
Main Duties
- Drive and maintain revenue for the company and the Finishing team through strategic client relationships and proactive sales efforts.
- Actively pursue leads and new business opportunities to expand the Finishing client base.
- Oversee Finishing reels and other sales collateral in collaboration with leadership and marketing teams.
- Spearhead the bidding, scheduling, and planning for all Finishing projects (act as the primary contact for clients during the bid process).
- Manage project budgets from start to finish, including identifying and communicating overages as needed.
- Mentor and support the production team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Partner with Leadership and Marketing to identify and execute PR and promotional opportunities.
- Oversee artist (Flame) management, including workload balance, scheduling, and development.
- Serve as a liaison between Production and Sales, ensuring alignment on workflow, capacity, and opportunities.
- Act as a brand and cultural ambassador for the studio, representing the Finishing team internally and externally.
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate billing in line with client expectations and project delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, client output, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
- Own and track the growth of Finishing team billings, including schedule optimization and revenue targets.
- Maintain close contact with other studios.
Additional Duties
- Manage time during sessions, ensuring alignment with booked schedules and maximizing efficiency for clients and Colorists.
- Coordinate sharing of viewing links during sessions and facilitate client engagement (e.g., DP, director involvement).
- Oversight project prep, render workflows, and handoff processes to ensure completion and delivery.
- Maintain and update client databases, historical job records, bids, and invoicing documentation.
- Conduct quality control checks on review links and final project deliveries.
- Follow up on delivery of final masters, ensuring client satisfaction and completion.
