About the role
This is a senior build role for an experienced media operator. You will run HSR end to end: the editorial point of view, the show, the content system, translating long-term brand strategy and Maggie Sellers Reum’s creative vision into a production operation that scales with precision, taste and speed.
Responsibilities
- Own the Production Engine End to End
- Lead the full production cycle of HSR - planning, recording, post, publishing across longform, social and written assets.
- Set the global benchmark for premium female ambition media: guest experience, studio quality, edit output and quality that push what the category can do.
- Build a round-the-clock production operation that delivers on time, on budget, at an uncompromising bar every week.
- Own the Editorial Strategy
- Own HSR’s editorial point of view what the brand stands for, what it talks about, who it talks to, and exactly how it sounds.
- Shape the slate and guest strategy with the team: the conversations, themes and voices that define HSR and pull the culture toward it.
- Identify and secure the voices shaping culture before everyone else does.
- Make editorial calls with conviction. Clear opinions, real experience, rooted in taste nothing generic, nothing that over-explains or plays it safe.
- Liver Inside the Culture
- Be deeply immersed in pop culture, business and brands. You know the players, the moves and the moments before they hit the mainstream.
- Track the cultural trends that actually matter to this brand and this audience: female ambition, modern wealth, the creator economy, and the conversations shaping the room.
- Live inside the platforms especially YouTube. Fluent in how it rewards packaging, titling and retention, and where the audience’s attention is moving next.
- Spot trend fatigue and cultural shifts early, and move fast to put HSR ahead of them rather than chasing them.
- Protect and Scale the Brand World
- Hold the editorial voice, aesthetic and pacing of HSR across every touchpoint. Make every output unmistakably HSR.
- Build the formats, systems and IP that let the brand scale a platform, not a personality.
- Flag dilution early and fix it fast.
- Drive Growth Through YouTube, Data and Taste
- Treat YouTube as a primary growth engine: deep, current understanding of the algorithm, packaging, thumbnails, titles, watch-time and how to compound a channel.
- Lead performance analysis across all platforms to understand what’s working, what’s not, and why.
- Use audience behaviour and retention data to sharpen content, format and partnership decisions instinct, taste and evidence, never one without the other.
- Build rapid test-and-learn pilots; scale what works with discipline, kill what doesn’t. Grow audience depth, not just reach.
- Own Commercial Delivery
- Oversee on-the-ground execution of brand partnerships and integrations, ensuring flawless delivery for partners.
- Hold commercial output to the same editorial standard as the rest of the brand host-read and branded assets built with the same creativity and principles as the content.
- Protect positioning. No short-term decisions that damage long-term brand equity.
- Build the Team and Operate Like an Owner
- Hire, lead and develop a high-performing team of A players, setting the standard for pace, ambition and creative bar.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, urgency, ownership and the 1%s.
- Run launches and brand moments with accountability and judgement. Solve problems before they escalate. Think in long-term equity, not short-term optics.
- Experienced media operator with a proven track record producing and scaling premium content or media brands.
- Deep, current understanding of YouTube as a growth platform packaging, titling, thumbnails, retention and long-term channel strategy.
- Immersed in pop culture, business and brands, with sharp instincts for the cultural trends that matter to this audience.
- Strong editorial judgement, a clear point of view and the taste to know what HSR should and shouldn’t say.
- Deep understanding of female ambition culture and modern wealth narratives.
- Fluent across longform, social and platform-native storytelling and what makes content resonant and shareable.
- Skilled at working with high-profile talent while protecting authenticity and voice.
- Operationally sharp able to deliver complex production at pace and scale, on time and on budget.
- Commercially aware and data-literate; understands that the real unlock is ideas that are profitable, scalable and repeatable.
