Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
- Lead sales efforts to achieve or exceed personal and property-wide annual revenue goals while maintaining high service and guest satisfaction.
- Answer inquiries for business within established deadlines and maintain a daily schedule of soliciting new business.
- Research and solicit new business via telephone, in-person meetings, or trade shows, and maintain effective communication with established clientele.
- Conduct outside sales calls to new and existing clients.
- Ensure achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Negotiate all sales contracts effectively.
- Prepare and maintain corporate business files, records, correspondence, and reports to ensure compliance with departmental policies.
- Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details within appropriate software applications.
- Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by discreetly notifying management of concerns.
- Report any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations to management or the Ethics Hotline.
- Promote positive public and employee relations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; (3) three to (5) five years of hotel sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proficiency in hotel software for catering sales such as Daylight or Delphi required.
Work Environment
- May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Fast-paced, crowded, and noisy casino environment with constant exposure to the general public.
- Must communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties.
