Executive Meetings Manager

About the role

As an Executive Meeting Manager, you will manage and coordinate small to mid-sized group meetings and events, from initial booking through execution. You’ll serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring all event details are planned and communicated effectively across hotel departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate short-term business for the hotel.
• Book and detail small, short-term group business.
• Oversee small group rooming lists.
• Create contracts, group resumes, and BEOs.

This role reports to the Director of Sales and serves as a foundational manager role in the sales department, offering exposure to sales, catering, customer service, and overall hotel operations. It can lead to career progression within sales, including roles such as Director of Sales, national salesperson, or third-party planner.

Requirements

• Hotel experience is always a plus.
• A college degree or two years of hotel experience.
• Previous experience in a similar or related position.
• Additional consideration for applicants with special certifications.
