Role & responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse shift operations run as planned, executing material reception and delivery according to the plan and allocating priorities based on the plan.
- Anchor labor planning and resource allocation for daily warehouse activities, right-sizing shift operations to reduce overtime and resource deficits.
- Work with the shift team to address productivity performance issues and implement training and development modules for new hires and refresher training for existing team members.
- Implement and adhere to the Safety Framework, taking proactive measures to eliminate incidents based on BFS observations, Gemba Walks, Safety Checklists, and Racking inspections.
- Execute actions and Gap analyses resulting from Quality Management System (QMS) reviews, collaborating with warehouse and other teams to ensure adherence to Good Warehousing Practices.
- Understand and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to warehouse operations, including inventory turnover, fill rates, order accuracy, and on-time delivery metrics.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred, with over 2 years of relevant operational experience in warehouse management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Proven track record in ensuring compliance with legal obligations and Nestlé Good Warehousing Practices, managing safety, health, and environment regulations.
- Expertise in optimizing warehouse costs while delivering outstanding service levels.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean methodologies.
- Proficient in managing relationships with service providers, ensuring contract compliance and vendor performance.
- Strong background in structured inventory management and reverse logistics operations.
