We're looking for an Executive Housekeeper who refuses to settle for "good enough." Someone who inspires a team, raises the bar every day, and takes pride in creating one of the cleanest, most welcoming hotels in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

Your mission? Make every space feel as though the very first guest is about to walk through the door.

• Lead an incredible housekeeping team responsible for:
  • 205 beautifully appointed guest rooms
  • Nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space
  • Public areas, back-of-house spaces, and every detail in between
• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing housekeeping team that takes pride in being the best.
• Create a culture where attention to detail isn't encouraged—it's expected.
• Ensure every guest room and public space consistently exceeds Kimpton standards.
• Conduct inspections with a sharp eye and an even higher standard.
• Develop efficient processes that improve quality while supporting your team's success.
• Manage labor, budgets, inventory, and supplies with confidence and accountability.
• Partner with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Sales to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Champion safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout the hotel.
• Celebrate wins, develop future leaders, and make your team excited to come to work every day.

Requirements

You're Someone Who:

• Has exceptional housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment.
• Leads with confidence, humility, and integrity.
• Has an almost legendary attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, luxury or lifestyle hospitality setting.
• Loves developing people and building strong, engaged teams.
• Takes ownership and leads by example.
• Believes excellence is a habit—not an occasional achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of housekeeping management experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software
• Knowledge of inventories, scheduling, and productivity
