Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly and poise.
  • Prepare and assign work assignments for the housekeeping department.
  • Inspect work for conformance to cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of housekeeping calls, requests, and complaints.
  • Order and maintain optimal levels of supplies and monitor the department's budget.
  • Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to company standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections of room attendants' carts, linen closets, stairways, landings, public areas, and guest rooms.
  • Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with the maintenance department.
  • Prepare annual housekeeping budget and housekeeping-related reports for management.
  • Show initiative in job performance by anticipating guest and team member needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Ability to interpret instructions in various forms.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
