Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly and poise.
- Prepare and assign work assignments for the housekeeping department.
- Inspect work for conformance to cleanliness standards.
- Ensure prompt resolution of housekeeping calls, requests, and complaints.
- Order and maintain optimal levels of supplies and monitor the department's budget.
- Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to company standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of room attendants' carts, linen closets, stairways, landings, public areas, and guest rooms.
- Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with the maintenance department.
- Prepare annual housekeeping budget and housekeeping-related reports for management.
- Show initiative in job performance by anticipating guest and team member needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Ability to interpret instructions in various forms.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
