Executive Director, Robertson County

About the role

The Robertson County YMCA is hiring an Executive Director to lead the YMCA of Middle Tennessee in achieving its mission while fostering inclusion and diversity. The role involves building community relationships, ensuring exceptional member service and program safety, driving fundraising, managing budget, and developing staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the YMCA in achieving its mission while fostering inclusion and diversity.
• Build relationships with community leaders, organizations, and businesses.
• Ensure exceptional member service, program delivery, and facility safety.
• Drive fundraising initiatives, including the annual giving campaign.
• Develop and manage the Center's budget, meeting or exceeding financial goals.
• Recruit, train, and inspire a strong team of staff and volunteers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in a director-level YMCA position.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Certifications Needed

• New Hire Orientation (before first shift).
• CPR Pro/First Aid/AED (within 30 days).
• Adult Mental Health First Aid (within 6 months).
• YMCA Team Leader or Multi-Team/Branch Leader certification preferred.

Pay

Salary: $76,840 per year to $96,050 per year (depending on experience). Pay type: Salary.
