Job Description
This role provides leadership for high-quality youth development programs, supervises two Regional Directors, builds strong community partnerships, and drives program growth and long-term sustainability. Working collaboratively with schools, families, and community organizations, this leader will help expand the YMCA's impact and strengthen the communities we serve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Must meet New Hampshire Child Care Licensing employment eligibility requirements.
- Five or more years of leadership experience in YMCA, childcare, youth development, nonprofit, or related program management preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, families, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related software applications.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and oversight for approximately 24 School-Age Childcare programs.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop two Regional Directors.
- Ensure program quality, licensing compliance, and operational excellence while adhering to state regulations and YMCA standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, enrollment goals, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand School-Age Childcare programs and increase community impact.
- Analyze program performance using enrollment, financial, quality, and operational metrics to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with schools, families, and community partners to support program growth and community engagement.
- Lead staff development through training, coaching, succession planning, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement in youth development programming.
