About the role

At AP Academy, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing student learning experiences through innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new educational programs aligned with AP Academy’s mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with other educators to refine and improve existing curricula.
  • Conduct research on best practices in education and incorporate findings into lesson plans and materials.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends and technologies relevant to AP Academy's field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with AP exam preparation and assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of current educational technology tools and platforms.
  • Passion for continuous professional development and growth.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
