About the role

This leadership position drives strategic marketing initiatives to build and sustain the brand’s market presence. The role provides functional and strategic support to the marketing team, executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and actions.
  • Lead a team of professionals specializing in advertising, digital marketing, public relations, special events, player development rewards club, database marketing, and property programming.
  • Oversee the development of technology to enhance guest experience.
  • Maintain frequent communication with operations teams, including F&B, retail, nightlife, HR, IT, and other marketing areas.
  • Drive revenue growth in collaboration with other marketing departments.
  • Create, monitor, and manage the operating budget, including financial oversight and addressing budget variances.
  • Represent the property at public events as directed by management.
  • Design or modify procedures to improve process efficiency and product quality.
  • Assess business objectives from operations teams and propose marketing solutions to achieve them.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, or a combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and budgeting processes, including P&L and financial management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, clients, and the public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform complex reading, writing, math, and task completion.
  • Skills in clerical work, compiling, coordination, analysis, supervision, instruction, precision work, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness card.

Physical demands

  • Constant repetitive use of the dominant hand; frequent use of the non-dominant hand.
  • Frequent light and firm/strong grasping motions.
  • Constant finger dexterity in both hands.
  • Constant use of vision abilities, including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

Work environment

  • Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone or with others.
  • Extended shifts involving face-to-face and verbal interactions, including around computer equipment.
  • Moderate noise levels, which may occasionally be quiet or loud.
  • Exposure to confined areas, vibrations, moving objects, and secondhand smoke.
