Executive Director, Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Establish Medical Affairs vision and strategy aligned with corporate objectives
• Build and scale the Medical Affairs function and its infrastructure
• Serve as a subject matter expert on scientific communication
• Translate clinical data into compliant medical communications
• Develop KOL engagement strategy and relationships with external experts
• Shape strategies for evidence generation and insights from the medical community
• Collaborate on clinical development strategies ensuring efficient trial enrollment

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) required
• 15+ years of industry experience, specifically in Medical Affairs leadership roles
• Proven track record of building or scaling Medical Affairs functions in biotech
• Strong strategic thinking with execution capability
• Deep knowledge of Medical Affairs best practices and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in oncology is essential
