Responsibilities
- Establish Medical Affairs vision and strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Build and scale the Medical Affairs function and its infrastructure
- Serve as a subject matter expert on scientific communication
- Translate clinical data into compliant medical communications
- Develop KOL engagement strategy and relationships with external experts
- Shape strategies for evidence generation and insights from the medical community
- Collaborate on clinical development strategies ensuring efficient trial enrollment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) required
- 15+ years of industry experience, specifically in Medical Affairs leadership roles
- Proven track record of building or scaling Medical Affairs functions in biotech
- Strong strategic thinking with execution capability
- Deep knowledge of Medical Affairs best practices and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in oncology is essential
