Executive Director, LALD

About the role

Praha Village, a Cassia community, is hiring an Executive Director, LALD to deliver quality and compassionate care to our residents in assisted living and memory care. If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional leadership to the team through positive engagement between staff, residents, families, and guests
• Oversee staff development, hiring practices, in-service training sessions, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment
• Support the initiatives of the Sales and Marketing Director to attract potential residents that will meet or exceed occupancy and service-offerings expectations
• Maintain on-going liaison relationship with communities, businesses and educational institutions to enhance Praha Villages’ existence
• Maintain and manage state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
• Participate in development of strategic long-range plans for the community and our organization

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology or Business Administration or other related field
• Previous experience in business management, emphasis on property management preferred
• Active Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Health Service Executive (HSE) license with BELTSS
• 1-2 years experience in senior housing or long-term care preferred
• Understanding of Assisted Living rules and regulations
• Demonstrated success in creating a flourishing senior healthcare community
• Positive interpersonal, communication, & financial management skills
• Outstanding time management experience along with excellent communication, organizational and computer skills
