Executive Director – La Vista Community Foundation (LVCF)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising and donor development efforts
• Build and maintain sponsor and community relationships
• Cook up and coordinate Foundation events and initiatives
• Serve as a visible ambassador for the Foundation
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to advance the Foundation's mission

Position Details

• Flexible schedule (30–40 hours per week)
• Remote/home office-based position with local meetings, events, and community engagement
• Salary range: $55,000–$70,000
• No retirement or health benefits available

The LVCF is seeking a passionate, energetic, and driven Executive Director to lead fundraising, community engagement, and Foundation operations. This position is ideal for someone who believes in the power of public service, has a passion for nonprofit work, and is committed to making a lasting impact in the La Vista community.

Requirements

• Possess a valid license
• Be legally authorized to work in the US and NE
• Reside within the Omaha metropolitan area
• Possess at least five years of professional experience, preferably in the nonprofit or corporate sector

Qualifications

• Interest in public service and working within the nonprofit community
• Experience generating revenue, fundraising, sponsorship sales, or business development in a professional setting
• Experience planning, coordinating, or managing events
• Experience working with a nonprofit organization in an operational, staff, volunteer leadership, or board capacity
• Personal or professional connection to the La Vista or Sarpy County community
