Job Summary
The Executive Director, Commercial Insights and Analytics (I&A), Immunology will lead the team responsible for the Immunology Commercial Business Unit (CBU) to drive deeper insights that inform business decisions across some of Regeneron’s leading brands. This role will partner with and serve as a strategic advisor for the SVP, Commercial Immunology CBU, and will partner with other leaders to grow and develop talent within the I&A organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the CSI&A Immunology team in providing business analytics, customer insights and competitive intelligence to deliver rich insights to solve key business problems
- Set the strategic I&A direction that aligns with CBU priorities and helps drive commercial excellence
- Serve as a member of the Immunology CBU Leadership Team, providing I&A expertise
- Partner with other CSI&A leaders to develop standardized adoption of capabilities such as marketing mix, promotional optimization, data science, market structure analyses, patient/treatment flow modeling, analog modeling and ML/AI methodologies across I&A
- Communicate with the Immunology CBU and provide strategic recommendations and insights as well as anticipated future needs
- Manage third-party vendor relationships
Qualifications
- 20+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, in roles of increasing accountability
- Prior experience with buy-and-bill brands in highly competitive markets
- Functional expertise in business analytics, customer insights, analog forecast development, market access, and competitive intelligence
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment, as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Knowledge of data industry standards
- Proven ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with all levels of management across functional and business unit boundaries
- Extensive experience with managing numerous projects concurrently against stringent deadlines
- Prior experience working with I&A projects and initiatives where a balance between project rigor and timeliness was needed
- Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflict, drive consensus and work across multiple departments
- Strong organizational, project management, influencing and change management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple project and priorities concurrently, while meeting stringent deadlines
- Master’s (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred
- Experience with co-promotes, as well as the immunology disease category, is strongly desired
