About the role

The primary responsibility of the Executive Director – Casino Marketing is to provide strategic leadership, development, and execution of casino marketing initiatives designed to drive gaming revenue, guest acquisition, customer retention, and loyalty program engagement. This role oversees the property's player development strategies, direct marketing programs, loyalty marketing initiatives, promotions, events, and database-driven customer engagement efforts. The Executive Director serves as a key leader in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximizing player worth, increasing visitation frequency, and strengthening brand affinity through the effective use of data, analytics, rewards programs, and personalized marketing. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive casino marketing strategies focused on driving gaming revenue, visitation, trip frequency, and profitability.
  • Work directly with host operations and player development to design initiatives to acquire, grow, and retain high-value gaming customers.
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Slots, Table Games, Hotel Operations, and Finance to optimize player reinvestment strategies and overall property performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the property's loyalty and rewards program, driving membership acquisition, activation, engagement, tier advancement, and retention initiatives.
  • Develop targeted campaigns designed to increase loyalty card usage across gaming and non-gaming outlets.
  • Collaborate with digital, CRM, and analytics teams to create personalized guest communications and offers.
  • Oversee program communications, member education, and team member training initiatives related to loyalty program features and benefits.
  • Utilize customer segmentation and behavioral analytics to develop targeted lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with CRM and database marketing teams to execute strategic, data-driven direct marketing campaigns that deliver measurable ROI.
  • Oversee segmentation strategies for gaming, hospitality, entertainment, and retail customers.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend continuous adjustments to improve engagement and profitability.
  • Develop omnichannel direct marketing strategies utilizing email, direct mail, mobile messaging, app engagement, and digital channels.
  • Oversee casino promotions, tournaments, special events, Venetian Rewards operations, and casino analytics.
  • Evaluate guest worth and profitability to ensure effective allocation of complimentary and promotional investments.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery for premium guests and loyalty members.
  • Support high-value customer acquisition and retention through personalized experiences and service recovery efforts.
  • Partner with operational departments across the resort to create memorable guest experiences that drive long-term brand loyalty.
  • Oversee VIP events, hosted experiences, tournaments, promotions, and player appreciation events.
  • Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets; manage departmental budgets and expense controls.
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness, player reinvestment, and campaign ROI, presenting strategic recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting standards to monitor business results.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and Nevada gaming regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing casino marketing and loyalty marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and guest focus.
  • Establish performance expectations and career development opportunities for team members, promoting cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License, and any other certification or license as required by law or company policy.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in casino marketing, loyalty marketing, CRM, database marketing, or gaming operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a large-scale gaming or hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing loyalty programs, player development teams, and customer retention strategies.
  • Working knowledge of casino management systems, CRM platforms, player tracking systems, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer segmentation, database analytics, reinvestment strategies, and promotional planning.
  • Strong financial acumen with proven experience managing budgets and forecasting revenue performance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, executive stakeholders, and Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
