Responsibilities
- Serves as the community leader responsible for financial, human resource, and operations management
- Ensures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care
- Supervises and assists in provision of all Resident services, including coordination of independently contracted ancillary health care providers
- Oversees recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining Community Team Members
- Assists with development and implementation of sales/marketing plans to accomplish occupancy targets
- Coordinates maintenance standards for the Community, Resident units, common areas, and adjacent grounds
- Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Community policies
- Operates within provided resources, ensuring income and expenses are controlled using annual budget projections
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college credits or degree preferred
- RHA, LNHA, or HFA certification preferred (required in some states)
- Must satisfy state experience requirements, including licensure or credentials to run a senior living community
- Experience managing a program or community in senior living preferred
- A minimum of three to five years of leadership experience required
