Responsibilities

  • Serves as the community leader responsible for financial, human resource, and operations management
  • Ensures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care
  • Supervises and assists in provision of all Resident services, including coordination of independently contracted ancillary health care providers
  • Oversees recruiting, interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining Community Team Members
  • Assists with development and implementation of sales/marketing plans to accomplish occupancy targets
  • Coordinates maintenance standards for the Community, Resident units, common areas, and adjacent grounds
  • Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Community policies
  • Operates within provided resources, ensuring income and expenses are controlled using annual budget projections

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college credits or degree preferred
  • RHA, LNHA, or HFA certification preferred (required in some states)
  • Must satisfy state experience requirements, including licensure or credentials to run a senior living community
  • Experience managing a program or community in senior living preferred
  • A minimum of three to five years of leadership experience required
