Job Description

Lead the launch of a new era in cancer care in Kansas City! OneOncology, LLC, a leading network of community oncology practices, is launching a brand-new practice of 4-7 medical oncologists in a vibrant community. We are seeking a passionate and visionary Executive Director to take the helm and lead this exciting venture.

Role Responsibilities Include

• Practice Operations/Administration: Monitor and supervise all aspects of the organization, maintaining smooth operations and addressing challenges proactively.
• Drive a culture of integrity and honesty that focuses on quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
• Leverage OneOncology resources to support practice optimization and growth.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
• Assist leadership in streamlining workflows and drive operational excellence, continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee weekly physician meetings and monthly leadership operations meetings, facilitating communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Public Health Administration, or other relevant field, or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in oncology practice administration preferred.
• Experienced track record of operating effectively in a complex decision-making setting.
• Strong communication and relationship development skills suitable to leading a diverse group of physicians, leaders, team members, and outside partners.
• Willingness to travel to OneOncology locations and community oncology events once a quarter, at a minimum.
