About the role
Kisco Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a senior living community, ensuring the highest level of care and support for residents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure resident health needs are met
- Oversee staff training and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement community events and activities
- Manage resident complaints and conduct investigations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., gerontology, social work)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior care or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of senior living best practices
- Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
