About the role
The next Executive Director will work in close partnership with the Board of Directors, Artistic Director Jacob Winkler, staff, faculty, families, and community partners to grow membership, expand performance opportunities, steward contributed and earned revenue, and build on more than five decades of artistic and educational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with the Board of Directors, Artistic Director Jacob Winkler, staff, faculty, families, and community partners to grow membership, expand performance opportunities, steward contributed and earned revenue, and build on more than five decades of artistic and educational excellence.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Northwest Choirs throughout the community, building meaningful relationships across the region’s arts, cultural, and business sectors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization, preferably in the arts or education sector.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Experience in fundraising, including grant writing and donor relations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with financial management and budgeting.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as music, arts administration, education, or a related field.
- Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience working with young people and a passion for choral music.
