Core Responsibilities
- Carry an individual coaching portfolio of CEO and C-suite clients, maintaining scheduled one-on-one engagements at a cadence appropriate to each client's needs and ATI's program standards.
- Build deeply trusted advisor relationships grounded in candor, accountability, and genuine investment in each client's growth.
- Guide clients through goal-setting, priority alignment, and business performance review using ATI's coaching frameworks as a foundation — adapting approach to the individual rather than applying a fixed formula.
- Support clients through high-stakes decisions, organizational challenges, leadership development, and personal inflection points.
- Maintain accurate coaching records, track client progress over time, and surface insights that inform ATI's program development.
Peer Group Facilitation
- Facilitate regular in-person meetings of CEO and owner-level peer groups, maintaining an environment of trust, candor, and productive challenge.
- Prepare for each session with intention — bringing relevant industry content, timely business topics, and thought-provoking questions that prompt member engagement, while transitioning quickly to member-led discussion.
- Leverage ATI's position as an industry SME to introduce emerging trends, benchmarks, and best practices into group dialogue; draw in internal or external subject matter experts when appropriate.
- Actively seek expertise from outside the automotive industry — including thought leaders and practitioners in business growth, leadership development, organizational strategy, and executive performance — to bring fresh perspective and broader context into peer group sessions.
- Manage group dynamics with skill — drawing out quieter members, redirecting unproductive conversations, and ensuring every participant receives value.
- Monitor individual member engagement and flag retention risks; partner with ATI leadership on member outreach and re-engagement strategies.
- Contribute to the development of facilitation resources, session frameworks, and content that strengthens ATI's peer group program overall.
Strategic Planning Facilitation
- Facilitate annual strategic planning meetings for Platinum alumni clients — a distinct, high-stakes engagement that moves beyond peer exchange to structured organizational planning at the executive level.
- Design and lead sessions that help leadership teams clarify vision, align on priorities, surface internal tensions, and leave with actionable plans — not just frameworks.
- Adapt facilitation approach to the size, maturity, and strategic context of each client organization; no two planning engagements are identical.
- Maintain continuity between the coaching relationship and the planning engagement — using ongoing familiarity with the client's business, team dynamics, and stated goals to make the strategic planning session more targeted and productive.
Program & Team Contribution
- Contribute to the evolution of ATI's executive coaching and peer group methodologies — documenting effective practices, flagging gaps, and collaborating with leadership on program improvements.
- Mentor and support less experienced coaches and facilitators; model the standard for executive-level client engagement.
- Participate in ATI's internal professional development programs and contribute insights drawn from executive client work back into the organization.
- Uphold ATI's standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct across all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Significant, verifiable experience operating at or directly advising the executive/C-suite level in automotive repair or a closely adjacent industry.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate peer groups, leadership roundtables, or executive-level cohorts.
- Strong business acumen — able to engage credibly on P&L, organizational structure, growth strategy, and leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal presence; able to build trust quickly with high-performing, results-oriented individuals.
- High degree of discretion and professional maturity; executive-level relationships demand confidentiality and judgment.
- Willingness and ability to travel for in-person group meetings and client engagements.
Preferred
- Active coaching credential (ICF, BCC, or equivalent).
- Experience with multi-shop operations or DSO business models.
- Familiarity with ATI's programs, products, or coaching methodology.
