About the role

Reporting to the Director of Claims, you will serve as an advocate for HUB’s clients on significant Property and Casualty (P&C) claims. You will service assigned accounts, including T-200 customers, to ensure the highest level of customer service. This role involves working with specific Vertical specialty teams based on your training, background, and expertise, and serving as a resource to the HUB New England Claim staff and all other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide claim advocacy services for HUB clients in accordance with systems and procedures.
  • Determine coverage and scope of loss.
  • Act as a resource to the service staff on all claim issues.
  • Serve as an intermediary between HUB and the insurers’ claims staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate claim review meetings between clients and carriers when appropriate.
  • Assist clients and provide claim technical advocacy on large losses.
  • Support the sales presentation process for new prospective clients.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the claims director.

Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of claim supervisory/management experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of claim handling in Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto (both first and third-party claims), Workers Compensation, and large property claims.
  • Extensive experience handling large/complicated P&C claims.
  • Advanced working knowledge of property and casualty coverage issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000 annually, impacted by factors such as skills, experience, and working location.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role based in the Wilmington, MA office.
