Executive Chef (Multi-Unit)

About the role
The System-Level Executive Chef will oversee all culinary functions for a hospital system with 4 acute care hospitals and two additional off-site campus retail cafes (622 beds combined). This role manages culinary operations for patient meal service, retail café dining, and catering services across all locations. Based in Owensboro, KY, the Executive Chef will travel to other facilities as needed, lead a team of associates, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage cost controls and expenditures for the account
- Plan and create all menus
- Purchase and manage inventory
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams
Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred
- Three to five years of culinary management experience
- High-volume production and catering experience
- Previous experience managing cost controls
- Desire to learn and grow with a top-tier foodservice company
Pay
Salary: $75,000–$85,000. Additional compensation includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
Schedule
Day shift, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotations, evenings, and holidays as needed.
