Executive Chef/Manager

Description

The Springs at Whitefish seeks an Executive Chef/Manager with a blend of culinary talent and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Executive Director to support the dining team, create diverse menus, cater special events, and maintain a high standard of dining service.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with the Executive Director to support the dining team
• Create varied menus for different styles of service
• Cater special events
• Set a superior standard for the provision of a high-quality dining experience
• Commitment to staff development, flavorful food, and plate presentation
• High degree of accountability to the residents served
• Background in nutrition and special diets is beneficial

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Manager
• Experience in creating diverse and appealing menus
• Ability to manage and lead a dining team
• Knowledge of special dietary needs and nutritional requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
