About the role
Responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative menu concepts
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with the executive team to manage budget and inventory
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with local health codes and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional chef experience
- Experience managing a kitchen staff
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Valid Food Handler Certification
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead a kitchen team
- Knowledge of various cuisines and techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Experienced in using kitchen equipment and appliances
