Executive Chef

About the role

As an Executive Chef, you will ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards and provide residents with an exceptional dining experience while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste. You will work to improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction and ensure delivery of company objectives including budget, food and labor costs, food safety, and sanitation standards. Additionally, you will lead the culinary team in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
• Minimum of three years of experience in a kitchen managerial position
• A professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications
