About the role
SodexoMagic is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for Grambling State University in Grambling, LA. Grambling State is a Premier HBCU account with a robust and innovative dining program. SodexoMagic is a joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo.
Responsibilities
- Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for Campusbe
- Responsible for food, physical safety, and annual training for all hourly associates
- Manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
- Procurement and purchasing
- Create menus based on client needs
- Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and dining services
- Create interpersonal relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
- Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
