EXECUTIVE:BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (ENERGY SECTOR)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Executive – Business Development to support the growth of our business by developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and coordinating commercial activities with local and international stakeholders in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze energy sector market intelligence to identify emerging trends and generate actionable business opportunities.
• Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities, providing insights to support commercial decisions and business growth.
• Coordinate commercial transactions, overseeing shipment follow-ups, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, international principals, suppliers, and service providers to support long-term business objectives.
• Collaborate with management to identify new business opportunities, support customer acquisition, and achieve value and growth targets.
• Maintain accurate commercial and operational records, prepare management reports, and support compliance and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (will be an added advantage).
• 1-3 years of experience in business development, commercial operations, logistics coordination, customer relations, trading support, or a similar role.
• Experience in the energy, industrial, engineering, shipping, or trading sectors (will be an advantage).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
