Executive Assistant, VP, Web Marketing (Remote)
About the role
The Web Marketing organization supports Cisco’s and Splunk’s global web presence. This role supports 1-2 VPs by managing their calendars, coordinating speaking engagements, planning meetings, preparing travel briefings, handling correspondence, and assisting with special projects.
Responsibilities
- Handles VP's calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings.
- Coordinates VP’s speaking engagements and ensures content readiness.
- Assists VP in planning and organizing meetings, including assembling agendas and logistics.
- Prepares travel packs for international and domestic events.
- Serves as a proxy for communications and approvals, handling routine matters and resolving issues.
- Manages travel and expenses for VP, ensuring optimal travel arrangements and Cisco benefits.
- Supports executives on special projects, researching issues, analyzing problems, and compiling reports.
- Prepares itineraries and accompanies VP for large corporate events.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include 4+ years of experience in an administrative environment, 2 years supporting a VP at the director level or above, expert-level knowledge of Windows applications, and experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination. Preferred qualifications include past work experience in the high-tech industry, especially in Cisco, and associates degree.

Strong interpersonal skills, independent judgment, and ability to handle confidential information are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients, are required. Professionalism and a collaborative attitude are also crucial.
Skills
Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are necessary. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is beneficial.

Pay
The starting salary range is $97,700.00 to $129,800.00, with individual pay determined by location, market conditions, and other factors. For quota-based sales roles, the combined base pay and sales target incentive compensation ranges are provided.
Schedule
Employees may be eligible for various paid time off options, including holidays, birthdays, and personal wellness days. Additionally, there are opportunities for additional paid time off to address critical family issues. For quota-based sales roles, performance-based incentives are available, ranging from 0% to 125% of target based on performance.
