Executive Assistant, VP, Product Management
About the role
The Network Platform product management team is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President (VP) in various administrative tasks. This role requires United States West Coast working hours and preference for candidates that can regularly be in office in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Handles VP's calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings.
- Works closely with communications team to ensure content needs are understood and set in motion for VP's engagements.
- Aids in planning and organizing meetings, assembling agendas, and managing meeting logistics.
- Prepares travel packs for international and domestic events, including coordination of logistics and customer/team requests.
- Supports VP by acting as proxy for communications and approvals, answering general questions, and referring routine matters to appropriate parties.
- Resolves issues within specified policies and guidelines, and mentors administrative community members on problem-solving.
- Makes in-depth global travel arrangements for VP, considering optimal travel arrangements and Cisco expenses.
- Plans and executes team celebrations and culture-building activities.
- Provides analytical support for special projects, researches issues, analyzes problems, compiles data, and prepares reports.
- Prepares and accompanies VP for large corporate events, using executive assistants (EA).
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in administrative environments.
- Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of executives and clients.

This position offers competitive compensation, including a starting salary range of $99,300.00 to $131,800.00, subject to location and market conditions.
