Executive Assistant to the President
Missouri Farm Bureau is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to the President who brings exceptional organization, sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate what’s needed before being asked. This role is at the center of many relationships, regularly interacting with senior leaders, Board members, county Farm Bureau leaders, employees, and external partners.
About the role
As a trusted partner to the President, this individual will play an important role in managing priorities, coordinating executive activities, supporting the Board of Directors, and serving as a highly visible representative of the President’s Office. Responsibilities
- Manage a complex executive calendar while anticipating conflicts, changing priorities, and future scheduling needs.
- Help prioritize and appropriately direct requests requiring the President’s attention.
- Coordinate executive meetings, prepare agendas and materials, document minutes, and track follow-up items.
- Support meetings and activities involving the Board of Directors, county Farm Bureau leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Assist with significant organizational events, including Missouri Farm Bureau’s Annual Meeting and related executive activities.
- Coordinate all aspects of the President’s business travel, including itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and documentation.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare executive-level correspondence, presentations, reports, memoranda, and other communications.
- Manage expense reports, budget reconciliation, invoices, and supporting Executive Office documentation.
- Maintain information and records supporting the Executive Office.
- Serve as a key point of contact for Board members, senior executives, employees, county Farm Bureau leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Handle highly confidential business, personnel, financial, governance, and executive information with exceptional discretion.
- Represent the President’s Office in every interaction with professionalism, responsiveness, diplomacy, and exceptional service.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Flexibility to occasionally work varied hours or travel overnight for meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in business administration, communications, office administration, or a related field preferred; bachelor’s degree desirable.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including experience supporting senior or executive-level leadership.
- Three or more years of executive-level support experience preferred.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience may be considered.
