About the role

The Essex Westford School District (EWSD) seeks an Executive Assistant to Instructional Leadership to provide high-level administrative, organizational, and project management support to the Executive Directors for Primary and Secondary Education. This position supports district initiatives related to curriculum, special education, equity and inclusion, social-emotional learning, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Executive Directors for Primary and Secondary Education.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, communications, and department operations.
  • Cook up district-wide projects, professional learning events, and leadership initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain communications, presentations, reports, and website content.
  • Support compliance and administrative processes related to student services, Title IX, Harassment, Hazing & Bullying (HHB), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidential records and data systems while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with district leaders and staff to support instructional priorities.
  • Utilize technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, organization, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant administrative experience.
  • Experience providing high-level administrative support in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, databases, and web-based applications.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a commitment to customer service.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Valid Vermont driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule
