Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
About the role
The Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer is a trusted operational partner accountable for the day-to-day execution of the Chief Executive Officer's priorities across scheduling, communications, stakeholder coordination, and confidential administration. This role operates at the center of the organization's leadership function, with direct accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, and discretion of every interaction and record produced in support of the office of the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the Chief Executive Officer's calendar, inbox, travel, and daily coordination with a high degree of organization and discretion
- Prepare materials and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Track action items, follow up on key priorities, and monitor progress against strategic initiatives
- Serve as a liaison across teams to close communication gaps and keep projects on schedule
- Participate in hiring activities, including interviewing candidates and supporting evaluation processes
- Support financial processes, including expense tracking and budget preparation
- Provide administrative support that ensures the smooth conduct of daily operations
- Contribute to special projects and operational initiatives as needed
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and securely
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related business discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting a senior executive or leadership team
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prowess in staying organized, prioritizing effectively, and working independently
- A high degree of emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and composure under pressure
- A facility with quickly learning new tools and systems
- Familiarity with project management platforms

- Experience within a startup or high-growth company environment
