About the role

Sedron Technologies is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant & Office Manager to support the executive leadership team and oversee day-to-day office operations in Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Support executive leadership with coordination and tracking of key initiatives, action items, and cross-functional projects
  • Aid in preparation and coordination of board materials, executive communications, and confidential business documentation
  • Drive follow-through on executive priorities by coordinating meetings, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
  • Provide administrative and operational support for strategic initiatives and special projects as needed
  • Anticipate executive and organizational needs, proactively identifying gaps, risks, or scheduling conflicts before they arise
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and limited structure
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Show high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence when interacting with executives, board members, partners, and employees
  • Manage confidential executive or board-level communications
  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and limited structure
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence when interacting with executives, board members, partners, and employees
  • Experience supporting confidential executive or board-level communications
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Office Management, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting executives, office operations, or corporate administration in a professional environment
  • Experience supporting executive leadership within engineering, manufacturing, technology, or industrial organizations
  • Familiarity with office facilities management
  • Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing calendars, travel coordination, and scheduling across multiple stakeholders and time zones
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and coordination capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and business documents
