About the role

The Executive Assistant I, Membership supports the VP, Membership and initiatives of the marketing department, including support for dentist leadership groups managed by the department. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support, coordinating meetings and events, and maintaining department records.

Responsibilities

  • Provides logistical support to meetings and events.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Anticipates department needs and takes initiative.
  • Communicates effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Coordinates volunteer meetings and prepares correspondence/reporting.
  • Supports board and committee operations and succession planning.
  • Builds strong relationships with administrative and committee/board support staff.
  • Partners with marketing coordinator(s) and specialists to support high-volume times and department goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years executive administrative support experience in a professional environment.
  • Ability to provide logistical support to meetings and events.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and anticipate department needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Respond to changing situations in a flexible manner.
  • Represent the organization to external and internal audiences.
  • Strong computer skills, including ability to use Windows/Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Internet searches.
  • Prior experience with basic database functionalities (search, data-entry, report generation).
  • Familiarity with volunteer governance structures and for-profit structures.
  • Experience in a membership organization and/or supporting a marketing department.

Pay

$59,000 - $73,800 per year

Schedule

Remote first work environment with occasional travel and in-office meetings. Must be within commuting distance of Sacramento, CA.
