About the role
Baptist Health is Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system. We provide a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through 200+ locations and six hospitals. Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Manage a complex executive calendar, prioritizing meetings and scheduling across multiple leaders and departments.
- Cook up executive leadership meetings, committee meetings, and Board-related HR presentations.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
- Organize travel arrangements, conference registrations, and expense reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications directed to the CHRO.
- Handle highly confidential employee, organizational, and business information with the highest level of discretion.
- Cook up special projects, strategic initiatives, and Human Resources programs.
- Track departmental priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items to ensure timely completion.
- Support preparation of executive dashboards, HR metrics, and workforce reports.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in accordance with organizational policies.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of executive administrative experience, preferably supporting a C-suite executive.
- Experience supporting Human Resources executives or healthcare leadership strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience managing complex calendars and executive schedules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a large healthcare system or hospital environment.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams.
- Knowledge of Human Resources operations and practices.
- Experience with Workday or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
- Project coordination experience.
