Executive Assistant - Global R&D
About the role
Bose Corporation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Vice President of Engineering and their leadership team. This role is part of the Office of the Chief of Staff (OCOS) within Global R&D, a team focused on driving operational excellence, transformation, and leadership alignment, across Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize complex executive calendars, ensuring time is aligned to priorities and outcomes
- Prepare leaders for key meetings by coordinating inputs, materials, and follow-ups
- Anticipate needs and remove friction so leaders can stay focused on high-impact work
- Coordinate leadership team cadence (staff meetings, reviews, offsites) to ensure clarity, alignment, and follow-through
- Track actions and decisions, helping drive accountability across the leadership team
- Support preparation of communications, presentations, and organizational updates
- Act as a central point of coordination across Engineering, Operations, and partner functions
- Facilitate information flow, ensuring the right people are aligned at the right time
- Help onboard new leaders and team members to the organization’s operating model
- Manage domestic and international travel planning, including itineraries and expense reporting
- Coordinate key events, leadership sessions, and team engagements as needed
- Partner with Operations teams for activities such as procurement, systems support (e.g., SAP, Ariba), and onboarding logistics
- Ensure leaders are effectively connected into standardized processes rather than managing fragmented support
Requirements
8–10+ years supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, complex organization
Proven ability to manage competing priorities with minimal direction
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Experience with enterprise tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Workday, SharePoint)
Experience preparing high-quality presentations, communications, and briefing materials
Track record of improving team effectiveness through organization and follow-through

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $79,100-$108,800.
