About The Role
Orchard is looking for an Executive Assistant to own the day-to-day operations of our New York City office and support HR programs and processes across the company. You’ll be responsible for making sure the office runs smoothly and fostering a sense of community within our NYC team.
What You’ll Do Here
- Manage the overall operations of the New York Office and ensure the best experience for employees, guests, candidates, and vendors.
- Closely coordinate with IT, support vendors, building management, and other stakeholders to ensure the office is running smoothly at all times.
- Work closely with the People team to support projects and day-to-day tasks related to the employee lifecycle, such as new hire onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, employment verifications, and HRIS management.
- Partner with managers and HR team members to address employee questions, escalate issues as needed, and keep HR workflows moving.
- Plan and execute employee-facing events and programs to create an engaging and inclusive employee experience.

- If you have 2+ years of previous administrative, workplace, or office operations experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a customer service mindset.
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and follow-through even in sometimes ambiguous situations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to find elegant solutions before they become major issues.
- Excited and eager about working in HR, gaining hands-on experience, and a passion for employee experience and engagement.
- Superior teamwork & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships across a broad set of individuals and teams.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position in New York City is $80,000-100,000/year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the range provided depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
