Position Summary

The College of Dental Medicine at Yeshiva University is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Dean's Office. The position integrates Digital Dentistry techniques and offers a unique 36-month DDS program. The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to ensure the efficient operation of the Dean's Office.

Position Responsibilities

  • Office Management: Coordinate day-to-day operations, manage communications, handle mail, and maintain office supplies.
  • Schedule and Scheduling: Manage the Dean’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and arrange travel.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare meeting materials, draft agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Document Preparation and Management: Prepare and proofread documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing events, coordinating logistics.
  • Communication Liaison: Respond to inquiries, relay messages, and facilitate communication.
  • Financial Administration: Track and reconcile expenses, manage budget reports, process invoices, and coordinate purchases.
  • Special Projects: Support special projects, conduct research, gather information, and coordinate with other departments.

Experience & Education Background

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, with 1-3 years of experience in administrative support.

  • Professional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, clear and professional in conveying information.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with scheduling and budgeting software.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, anticipating needs and addressing issues.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Dedication to providing high-quality support and responsiveness.

$66,300-66,300
