About the role

The Executive Assistant supports the Corporate Projects & Engineering Group at Georgia-Pacific. The role is based in either Atlanta, GA or Green Bay, WI and involves in-office work with occasional flexibility based on business needs. Key responsibilities include executive support, team coordination, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, as well as office management and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and priorities for leadership
  • Develop, format, and organize presentations and key documents
  • Cook up, coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, key programs, team events, and leadership offsites
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to leaders, supervisors, and the broader team
  • Facilitate onboarding for employees and contractors
  • Coordinate system access, equipment, training requirements, and team integration activities
  • Manage transfer and offboarding processes, including return of assets and system updates
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and access requests
  • SharePoint sites growth and strategy and support document management and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate training assignments and track completion through Learning Management Systems
  • Serve as a key resource for SharePoint, Records & Information Management (RIM Compliance), and Learning Management System
  • Manage office logistics including supplies, equipment, mail, and visitor coordination
  • Support meeting and event coordination including scheduling, setup, and catering arrangements
  • Maintain distribution lists, team communications, and internal announcements
  • Partner with Facilities, IT, and Security to ensure an efficient and welcoming work environment

Requirements

  • More than 7 years of administrative or executive support experience in a professional environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to travel up to 25%

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting leadership teams in a corporate or project-based environment
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, document management systems, or learning management systems
  • Experience coordinating onboarding or employee lifecycle processes
  • Experience managing confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working cross-functionally with facilities, IT, and external vendors
  • A passion for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual workload, and create greater value for the team
