About the role
This position supports the Vice President of Corporate Development in a high-impact partnering role. Key responsibilities include managing priorities, shaping the flow of meetings and communications, and bringing discipline to the rhythm of business for Corporate Development.
Responsibilities
- Proactively triage inbox and communications, drafting and sending messages on behalf of the VP of Corporate Development as appropriate.
- Prepare the VP for meetings by assembling agendas, participant context, transaction materials, diligence updates, and executive briefing documents.
- Manage complex scheduling across global time zones, external advisors, investment bankers, acquisition targets, and executive stakeholders.
- Enforce scheduling priorities, protect strategic focus time, and create space for critical business development and transaction activities.
- Own the Corporate Development Rhythm of Business (ROB), including deal pipeline reviews, leadership team meetings, weekly priorities, operating reviews, integration updates, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Draft, review, and finalize agendas and pre-reads; capture key decisions, maintain action logs, and drive follow-through across internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for high-profile meetings, including acquisition reviews, executive leadership discussions, Board preparation sessions, banker meetings, and leadership offsites.
- Plan and monitor complex domestic and international travel, proactively addressing disruptions and ensuring itinerary effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with Fortive Global Travel and Expense policies, including visa coordination, approvals, and executive travel support.
- Review and process expense reports in accordance with company policy.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Strategy, Procurement, and Corporate Development team members on contracts, purchase orders, vendor engagement, and budget tracking.
- Maintain critical dashboards, trackers, templates, and standard work related to deal pipelines, diligence activities, integration planning, action items, and leadership reporting.
- Support preparation and organization of Board materials, investor-related presentations, transaction documentation, and executive communications.
- Handle highly confidential and market-sensitive information with exceptional discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, complex business environment; experience supporting Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, CFO, or CEO organizations strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience supporting Board materials and executive reporting preferred.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to operate effectively with incomplete information in a highly dynamic environment.
- Experience managing confidential business information, including acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and executive-level communications.
- Exceptional project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
- High level of AI fluency for drafting, synthesis, summarization, and executive readiness support (e.g., meeting briefs, transaction summaries, action logs, and executive presentations).
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence without authority, and serve as a trusted business partner to senior leaders.
- Comfortable operating in environments characterized by shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and significant cross-functional collaboration.

Pay
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 41.52 - 69.35.
