We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the EVP/Head of Communications for Paramount’s TV Media Group and the EVP of Communications for CBS Studios. This on-site role, based in our Hollywood office, is perfect for someone with strong communication, coordination, and prioritization skills to manage a fast-paced executive desk.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to two senior executives: the TV Media Group’s top communications officer (who reports directly to the Chair of TV Media) and the EVP, Communications, CBS Studios.
- Manage executives’ calendars, coordinate travel, and schedule meetings.
- Interact with senior management, press, and various divisions within Paramount and external constituents.
- Reconcile expense reports and order department supplies as needed.
- Serve as a conduit between Paramount Communications groups, acting as a resource and maintaining information flow.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, and other materials as directed.
- Screen and handle incoming and outgoing calls.
- Manage, track, and process invoices and department budgets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience providing executive-level administrative support in the entertainment industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with individuals at all levels, both in person and by telephone.
- Deep attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Exemplary writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Pay
The hiring salary range for this position is $56,000.00 – $100,000.00, applicable to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
