About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the VP and Proactive Security Team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, multi-timezone calendars and scheduling with diplomacy, discretion, and precision.
  • Cook up and execute domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed trip agendas and local logistics.
  • Plan and facilitate team activities including leadership meetings, on-site/off-site events, all-staff meetings, and organizational forums.
  • Own the team's space planning efforts in partnership with business stakeholders; manage seat assignments and ensure efficient workspace allocation across teams and locations.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, including coordination of reading documents and background information to ensure leadership readiness for all engagements.
  • Track key deliverables, drive completion, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
  • Process expense reports, purchase orders, and corporate card reconciliations; contribute to budget planning and financial tracking as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and team members across multiple geographic regions, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive and confidential information, ensuring all required actions are addressed promptly.
  • Respond to and escalate security events in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Manage core administrative functions including new-hire onboarding, organizational charts, supply procurement, and operational logistics.
  • Partner with fellow Executive Assistants across AWS Security and the broader Amazon organization to share best practices and provide mutual support.
  • Foster a positive team culture and contribute to an engaging work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • PREFERRED: Experience leading process improvements, experience designing processes to maximize efficiency, 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
