Executive Assistant
Job Description
The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive support to Vice Presidents and other executive leaders at Walden University. This role is responsible for a broad range of administrative, operational, and analytical functions that require a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment. The position regularly handles sensitive information and serves as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required but may substitute a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related tools.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage approved AI tools to streamline and automate routine work activities.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across Walden and the broader Covista executive support team.
- Ability to maintain composure when working under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Exercises sound judgment, maintains discretion, and appropriately handles sensitive and confidential information.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $20.51 and $37.18. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
