Role Description
HF0 is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the fund and its team. The role is full-time and on-site in San Francisco, providing comprehensive support to HF0’s leadership and managing complex calendars, meetings, and travel logistics.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, travel logistics, meetings, and shifting priorities with precision.
- Anticipate the needs of HF0’s leadership and proactively resolve scheduling, logistical, and operational issues before they become problems.
- Cook up guests, travel, vendors, and on-the-ground logistics for HF0 programming, dinners, and special events.
- Keep information, recurring processes, and administrative details organized—notice what’s not working and fix it proactively.
- Communicate effectively with fund leadership, founders, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with excellent judgment and discretion.
- Take ownership of ad hoc requests, special projects, and operational initiatives as HF0 evolves.
- Be the person the team can trust to take something from “we need to do this” to done.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant for a startup or VC fund is strongly preferred.
- Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities without letting things fall through the cracks.
- High-agency and proactive—look around corners rather than waiting for instructions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with polished executive presence.
- Resourceful and comfortable figuring out unfamiliar problems independently.
- Collaborative, low-ego, and willing to roll up your sleeves wherever needed.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys being an Executive Assistant and takes pride in enabling others to operate at their best.
Benefits
- Premier benefits, including housing and meals during batch programming, health / dental / vision coverage, and a competitive salary of up to $130K.
