The Classic Center is seeking a polished, highly organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the President/CEO in a dynamic, high-impact role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives at the center of leadership, communication, board support, and special projects while helping keep one of Athens’ premier entertainment, convention, and hospitality destinations moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Manage the President/CEO's calendar, meetings, travel, and priorities.
- Coordinate board meetings, monthly board reports, and executive materials.
- Draft and manage professional correspondence and executive communications.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for board members, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Support special projects, executive events, and organizational initiatives.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure follow-through on important assignments.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting executives, leadership teams, or board operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years in executive support, office management, or a related administrative role.
